Have you had a flight delayed or rescheduled by Blue Islands, with little to no assistance in recovering any additional costs you incurred? We're trying to find out how many passengers are affected.
We’ve seen a recent uplift in consumers contacting the Jersey Consumer Council who have experienced delays or cancellations on their Blue Islands flights.
As Blue Islands' registered office is in Alderney and its headquarters is in Guernsey, it's in a unique position as being the only airline serving Jersey which doesn't have to provide any compensation to disrupted passengers.
This is due to the airline being based outside of the UK or the European Union, so their legislation (known as UK261 and EU261) does not apply to Blue Islands.
Given the lack of compensation rights for many airline users, we would be interested in understanding how many passengers are affected by flight changes, delays, or cancellations.
